Railroad enthusiast Christian Signorelli organized a steam charter special for May 31, 2008. Forty tickets were sold to the public. The consist included WK&S steam locomotive #65, C&O boxcar #5504, LNE gondola #10381, Reading combine #408 and Reading caboose #92830. As far as I know this was the first steam power freight train in the history of the WK&S.

The day consisted of three trips. Each trip included several photo run by opportunities at various locations along the line.

Locomotive #65 couples to the train for the first trip of the day. The locomotive stayed on the south end of the train with no run arounds at Wanamaker. Each train was shoved north non-stop from Kempton to Wanamaker and then worked back south for the run bys.

The rain stopped by the end of the first trip. Following a short break for lunch, #65 and #602 paced each other up and down parallel tracks in Kempton. #602 had LNE caboose #512 in tow.

Then #65, #602 and an old tractor were posed in various scenes around Kempton station.

LNE flatcar #719 was unavailable for the charter due to the recent arrival of steam locomotive #4.

Same location as above. The farm seemed to be everyone's favorite location as the train did above five run bys at this same spot.
