The #1 most frequently asked question at the WK&S is "Where are the restrooms?". From the station area, you'll find modern restroom facilities by walking past the refreshment stand and turning left.

I don't know if the WK&S had any restroom facilities at all when it opened for business in 1963. But soon there after a pair of two-sided good-old-fashioned, hole-in-the-ground outhouses were constructed. One was desinated boys/girls and the other was designated men/women. Both were located behind the gift shop and were closed in 1983. One remained standing until 2005.

Around 1983 the WK&S caved to the demands of a modern world and constructed a new block restroom building. The new facility features such modern conveniences as running water, soap, paper towels and heat!
